No Pine Siskins today

The Pine Siskins did NOT show up for my first day of counting! All day the thistle feeder was full of American Goldfinches - with 13 being the maximum at any one time. By 4:00 they had quit feeding, and I hoped the Siskins would move in as they did yesterday evening. But no go! Maybe I'll be lucky and they' ll show up tomorrow for day 2 of this week's count. You just never know what's going to happen from one day to the next!
